Site briefing

Shore dive at a state shellfish lab area. Dive the Point Whitney Road to the Water Access and keep going down the beach along the fence. You'll see a gap in the fencing on the left - this is where the main attraction is out in the ocean.

Entry and route

There are 2 long outflow pipes from the shellfish lab - one is shorter and ends at about 35 fsw, and the other is much longer and concrete, ending at about 100fsw. Be aware of your depths and which pipe you're following. There are GPOs that live in the pipe segments, and the end of the long pipe looks like a bottle brush covered in plumose anemones.
