Site briefing
Ok, so this isn't a dive site - it's a snorkel spot. But hear me out - while it's filled with kids and beach goers on private property (you can get a day pass) I'll bet that 99.9% of the people there in the water have no idea what's in there with them.
Entry and route
Get a pass to the pool, and get in the water with your snorkel.

Dive reports from Hilton Lagoon - Waikoloa
1 logged dive, average rating 3.0 out of 5, average visibility 2.0 m (7 ft).
- Nov 30, 2025 · Joe · visibility 2 m (7 ft) — On travel day, we hit this up because we had access to it for free via the place we were staying (not at the hotel). While the species counts for each thing we saw were low, the variety was kinda cool. Lagoon is open to the ocean, and the tides / swell directly affect it. Seen: Humuhumunukunukuapua'a (Reef Triggerfish), Yellow Tang, Saddle Wrasse, Moorish Idol, Achilles Tang, Green Sea Turtle (Honu), Whitemouth Moray Eel, Redlip Parrotfish (Ember Parrotfish), Hawaiian Bigeye.
