Site briefing

These are the sand flats off of the Edgewater Beach Park. Great place to dive for crab. Set up camp on the beach and go get them. Be ware of boats, kayaks, paddle boarders who may be dropping pots on your head. Parking is limited, so come early or if full drop off your gear and look for the "overflow" down across the train tracks.

Entry and route

Enter the water basically anywhere on the beach and make your way out to 50-80 fsw. Hunt for crabs! Head N to the other side of the Pier. As it is lacking structure down there, take your compass bearings before you drop so you know which way is which. In a pinch, follow the uphill sand to get back to the beach.
