Meet the Founders
Justin's Journey
A few years ago, I set out on a road trip from Bainbridge Island through the Pacific Northwest coast, hoping to shore dive every spot along the way. I kept discovering how hard it was to get truly helpful, current info—tide tables, access, marine life, hazards, site logistics. Forums were incomplete; most resources were outdated. That frustration led to this platform.
Joe's Journey
I've been lucky to dive around the world, but Puget Sound is truly home. Most of my dives have been in cold water—whether here, in the UK, or off Portugal—with a few warm-water adventures in Mexico and Hawaii.
Like Justin, I found that while info for tropical dives is easy to find, cold water diving often leaves you guessing. Limited visibility and unique challenges mean good planning takes more than a basic site description—real stories and shared insights make all the difference.
I'm driven by data, openness, and the belief that our logbooks and knowledge shouldn't be stuck in vendor silos. My goal: help create a platform where sharing is easy, brand barriers don't matter, and every diver has a place to learn and connect.
We are both working toward Divemaster certifications and believe in making diving safer and more welcoming for all.
Every site has a story. Every diver has advice worth sharing. Our goal is to make those connections possible.
